Oh No I'm not

Been busy chasing an old female friend took me quite some time. I will get back on, when I have finally found some time to address all these updates Mai has been posting. Well done mate

Don't worry about me, sometimes I may seem to be dormant, but I'm always keeping an eye on things in this thread

Mutual Assured Destruction

Mutual Assured Destruction = MAD
This is a known abbreviation, probably useful for the database.

TRSi

Maybe not very important, but i think it should be
TRSI and not TRSi, if i remember right, i have never seen "TRSi" logo in cracktros, only "TRSI".
Inc. = Incorporated first letter always Uppercase, if its used for companies names?

This is something we should sort out, i think i saw someone discussing it but can't recall where, TRSI / TRSi is an abbreviation for "Tristar & Red Sector Inc." Right? or is "TRSI" the name and fullname = "Tristar & Red Sector Inc."

About the TRSI vs TRSi, in Amiga TRSi was used and in c64 renamers used TRSI, it should be sorted out but i think we will have to decide what to use because the group seems to use both forms, you can go to their website to see "TRSi", i think i agree with you and since "TRSI" seems to be the most used form, also used in their "history page". pouet and csdb.

Also Supplex with only one 'p' should be easily recognisable as a typo

Tkc

"TKC"
used once in
Temple of Enlightened Souls, The (1989)(Softsell)[cr TKC]
is not a group, "TKC" was a member of the german group "Spectral".
Note: It seems there was a different group called "Spectral".

So it needs to be fixed to Spectral right? The member name should be TKC or T.K.C.?
There are 2 sets:
Code:
Temple of Enlightened Souls, The (1989)(Softsell)[cr TKC]
Temple of Enlightened Souls, The (1989)(Softsell)[cr Spectral][t +2 Switch]
so i guess the difference was just the second being also trained

"Imperium" is used in
Imperium (1990)(Electronic Arts)[cr Assault][h Imperium]
but its wrong.
"Imperium" is the title of the game, so there is no set whit this group.
screenshot for the proof:

nice mai, added that info.
btw i think there was a group called Imperium ( http://www.exotica.org.uk/wiki/Imperium_%28group%29 ), but not in any tosec set i see
You could had also checked for Assault since i'm not sure yet if they existed, there was one "Assault" group in C64 (have a picture to that already) but not sure if there was one in amiga too (same, other, none?)

Again, its difficult to decide, 2 variations in 1 cracktro.
T.K.C
and
T.K.C.
A personal note:
I would never use "." for group abbreviations in the filename.
There are some examples, where groups sometimes used "." and sometimes did not.

Correct, again fixed for myself long time ago, and TOSEC???

Most time used was "TRSI", you have seen the screenshots, there are many other different cracktros, where you can see "TRSI" uppercase.
I have never seen "TRSi" as a logo in their cracktros.
Is there any group abbreviation known with a lowercase letter, except "RSi"(needs checking too)?
