Mediator z4 plus PCI
Friends,commrades!
Have an issue regarding my Power Tower and my new Mediator ZIV with PCI Busboard. 1. I have a 4 way adaptor in my rig already, but the height of the interface means it does not sit flush and clear from the adaptor, infact the adaptor is too high, so not safe! Any Ideas? 2.When i realised that this was not going to fit (Well as it should lol!) i then put my amiga back to its original spec but now i have games with no sound or run very slowly. Examples are Colonization - No Sound Xtreme Racing - No Sound Maniac Ball - Sound but slow running Any ideas and thoughts on this would be appricated |

If simply 'not safe' just put a layer of plastic between the top boards.
If 'won't fit', then not sure what you can do other than mount the pci backplane elsewhere in the tower (which would give you cable management issues). |

Or move the IDE buffer!
Simply use the original HD cable (or other with more length) and put the adaptor away of the bus board. |

Is this not one of the interfaces that clips onto the motherboard?
What sort of buffered interface is it (piccy would be good)? |

Sorry guys for not really stating the obvious. I will probably go for the idea of using a 2.5in 44way male to female this should get the interface out of the way!
its a EIDE "99" Made by Elbox, seems funny the same company that deal with the Mediator ???? |

I think Amigakit have those cables ready to send.
If not, surely Vesalia have! |
