Traps n Treasure Sprites , need some little help

Hi guys
I'm currently tinkering with one of my favorite games and trying to get the sprites, but I don't quite understand the system behind it (there seem to be different approaches here).

I use Maptapper and so far it's no problem to get the tiles, also the level maps I get without problems.

But with the sprites I despair enormously.

I know that there is a sprite at the address of my savestate, as you can see in the picture, but no matter which settings I use, I can't get them completely put together.

What am I missing?

the sprite width is wrong. Try 48 pixels.

The game uses 2 sprites stuck together horizontally to form Flynn, so you'd need to specify a width of 32 and the height varies. The game stores the control words at the top of the sprites, hence the garbage top line of pixels you will see in some of them. Also there's some junk after each sprite, I thought perhaps a sword or something but I can't work it out. Maybe it's just a control structure for the game and isn't graphics.
