CAPS meeting HOL: Database Entry?

hello folks...

I was just wondering if there has been already the discussion to add a "CAPS dump available" field in the HOL game entries - similiar to "WHD Install" or "JST Install".
I think this would be very useful while browsing HOL as you can see which games already have been dumped or not...

If it will be in hol, it will require loads of entries for version/language information, without that it will be useless and even misleading to contributors.
You can search our db for correct information on those (when available) and the db entries are frequently updated with additional version info, the search is also very conveniently forgiving it allows partial and subword matches like "kin que" that will result in mostly king's quest games, but "KINgdoms of England II: Vikings - Fields of ConQUEst" will be found as well so it is fast and convenient to use.
Make sure you enable disks/game/version/chipset/region info displayed in the search - they are allowed by default. This will help to easily identify missing/different titles.
Checking for "Type" set to budget can be helpful in identifying budget versions (in most cases the budget publisher is displayed in the version field, but for a few titles ambigious information prevents that)

It's a nice idea, and simple link to caps website when their db info are available may be one option.

Agreed, so both databases remain up-to-date.
