A600 kick 2.05 - What's the newest WB version for it?
Quick question: Is workbench 2.04 the latest one i can use for an A600 with kick 2.05? I'd rather have something newer, but I don't feel like softkicking with this low RAM

Hello,
I'd possibly try 3.1 (or maybe more likely to work 3.0) and see what happens. I suspect it would 'work' after a fashion though some things may prove to be a bit funky. If you do get it up 'n running and there are some particularly annoying problems you can always try to cure the specifics by soft-loading just the relevant libs from the newer ROM. FWIW: I'm quite keen on the reverse scenario... If you're not too bothered about eye-candy I'm a firm believer in running WB 2.1 over a 3.1 ROM - good for speed & low memory footprint on 'low power' systems while retaining much of what's improved from the later ROM(s) |

I'll ask in here:
I currently have kick 2.05 (rev 37.300) in my A600 - is it worth upgrading to 37.350? I heard that rev 37.300 is limited to 40MB -- is this true? I'm running a 256MB CF as a HDD in it, it had no problems partitioning all of it... Maybe it have issues addressing >40MB. EDIT: Too late, you slow. I already bought 37.350 for 9 euro. It is not necessarily limited to 40MB, but there are bugs that were fixed in the 37.350 release.

As mentioned above - 2.1 is fine. There is the ClassicWB GAAE version for that too:
