m5 indicates that it should be a multi-language version, more precisely 5 of them (usually the case for European releases having English, French, German, Spanish and Italian).
More importantly, are we speaking about HeroQuest (should be multilanguage on Amiga too): http://hol.abime.net/698 or Hero's Quest: http://hol.abime.net/703 ? |

Well, as you already said on HoL we only have information about an English release. Same thing for Lemon Amiga:
http://www.lemonamiga.com/games/details.php?id=3170 So you can assume there was no other language release (or it was never widespread). QFG1 is supported by ScummVM: http://www.scummvm.org/compatibility/ So you can try to take a look at that and see if they offer different languages. Not sure which versions are supported (DOS I guess, perhaps Amiga too). You could also take a look at the VGA remake, in case they added German for that. On the Wikipedia page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quest_f...t_to_Be_a_Hero You find no link to a German page. While it does not prove anything it makes it less likely that there was a German version. Good luck in your quest and please report anything interesting Now, time to report viddi's post as SPAM for his own work |
