Perhaps because it is not divisible by 16? Non-WinUAE issue most likely anyway (it does not care about size)

Most video codecs don't work well (or at all!) when the width is not divisible by 16 - this has to do with the use of vector (as in SIMD, not polygons) instructions from the MMX / SSE extension sets - so try restricting your x value to values divisible by 16.

Yep.. that's it.
Thought it was DIV8 not DIV16. GUI also snaps to DIV8 values. TSCC RGB lossless capture codec |
