FPU emulation
Hello,
i´d like to ask a question, regarding FPU emulation: A4000/040 – Amiga 4000 with 2 MB chip RAM and a 68040 processor running as fast as possible, defaulting to Kickstart 3.1. Does it mean, a FPU is emulated in this configuration? |

The 040 has an internal FPU, so yes.

So it is not a 680EC40 emulation, it´s a realy 68040?
I´m asking, because i get a error like "68040 Math emulation code not found" when stating up some programs... |

So i checked for "68040.library" in my LIBS: drawer (like the linked thread adviced) and i don´t have that one inside this folder...
I checked on my Amiga OS 3.9 CD-ROM, but can´t find it there (yet) When get 68040.lib installed and from what source? Why is it missing? In shell, "CPU" returns: "System: 68040 (INST: cache burst DATA: NoCache NoBurst)" |
