Aros Vision 1.5.2 uploaded

Newest Version can be downloaded here (as always):

http://www.natami-news.de/html/distr..._download.html

Changes:

All Aros-files update (to 4.8.12)

Updated:
Wazp3D
Codesets.library
Openurl.library
MCC Betterstring
MCC NList
MCC Texteditor
MCC TheBar
icon.library
camd.library

Added:
DOpus Magellan (Thank you to Jason for help, GPSoft for permission to include Magellan in it and Jan for permission to use the amikit-version)
“Safe” is for virus-protection included in startup
MakeCD
Additional includes in Amiblitz
AmiTwitter
Foxgui.library
Eagui.library
AmiSoxGui
AntiwordGUI
ZXLife
Additional Shortcuts

And a number of other GUIs, Prefs and additions to Tools, Utilities and Internet

Integrated Magellan and Scalos are still not optimized and for testing purposes. Wanderer is standard at the moment.

I have also updated my compatibility page and added games:
http://www.natami-news.de/html/compatibility.html

Base is always WinUAE and Kickstart Replacement ROMs (from 4.8.). Results with other versions of UAE should be similar (Feedback appreciated).

Any plans for AROS Vision to be included as a downloadable system for Cloanto's Amiga Forever?

Amigaforever

I had asked Cloanto some time ago and they answered they have already integrated Aros (they meant the nightly build). So my view was that there is no interest. But I can ask again.

Isn't it included in A-Forever 2012?

Only a very basic (and old) nightly build.

AROS Vision would rock on Amiga Forever.

Why it can't be simply updated with the software director like all the other systems?

And it says not to overwrite the existing System, so how do you say to update it in AForever 2012? I suposse it can be done.

And yes, the existing is very boring.

Exclamation How to make Aros_Vision playable in AF2012.

Aros Vision can be included in AF2012 if we stick to some simply rules; The full path c:\Users\Public\Documents\Amiga Files\Shared\dir\Aros_Vision\System\ need to be there, the WinUAE.uae file in c:\Users\Public\Documents\Amiga Files\WinUAE\Configurations\ need to be edited and a .rp9 file need to be made to make Aros_Vision be directly startable from the AF2012 Software Player. When you need to update to a new version of Aros_Vision then extract the new one where the old one was. Remember to delete the old Version of Aros_Vision first if the new one are a full release.

I have worked this weekend again on "Aros Vision" and managed to install "WHDLoad" in it and it really works. Additionally it needs the directory "kickstarts" from skick346 from aminet in Devs: and original ROMs from original hardware or Amigaforever in Devs:Kickstarts. If unpacking not works please reinstall XPK_usr.

Naming conventions for the original ROMs are here:
http://www.whdload.de/docs/de/need.html

Skick:
http://aminet.net/package/util/boot/skick346

Example with "Defender of the crown" running with WHDLoad and original ROMs (Amigaforever) on Aros Vision.

I will upload a slightly updated version in the next two days (of course without original ROMs)

Regarding Amigaforever perhaps there will be some news soon, who knows :-)
