I have a version of this game that I believe Meynaf ported from the ST and it's great, how does this version differ? Just curious.

In short: it runs at much higher resolution, has much better music/sfx, plays & controls differently and is overall much closer to the arcade release.

Just bought it! The CD32 iso version for me pulsates every 3 seconds from burry to clear. Just using a stock CD32. Anyone else have this issue?

Connected to a LCD? Pretty normal for a lot of modern TVs/monitors if the internal deinterlacing isn't good enough.

Yes, on the bright side, when composite video signal is handled well in LCD screens it looks a lot better than it used to from the Amiga. Can read text clearly, almost no ghosting, less color smear, no interlace flicker and most Amiga resolutions/modes are compatible (which can be a problem via RGB against LCD).

After many, many attempts, I finally managed to find the problem on my main computer. Perhaps I should apply to NASA and try my luck there to solve problems like these. (Greetings to the RBM Towerhawk team and the great ideas with their product) Now the game is working as it should I think. With the WHDLoad version I noticed a small bug in the picture intro, namely the gong sound is very weird. This happened with the 040 CPU boards (Apollo and Blizzard) on smaller setups everything went well. BTW: I have created some icons for the game if someone likes it, they are welcome to use them. |

I had a blast on this with two friends playing on an A1200 with the 4P adapter.
It really is a nice game, but i miss pause/quit and also i think the results fade away way too fast. Waiting for a fire press would be nice there. We did not play to the end, only some rounds so my other question is : are there options to customize a tournament? (Bought the digital download, no docs included) Thanks for that great game anyway!! |

The box looks utterly outstanding, every bit as good as anything released commercially back in the day. I really would never have imagined still getting quality like this in 2021 back then.
