Cheshire Amiga users?

Any other Amiga users in Cheshire?

I seem to remember chatting, or pm'ing, to someone from the Crewe/Nantwich area a couple years ago.

Anyway, anyone in the South Cheshire area fancy getting involved in an Amiga restoration project, or just live in the area, drop me a pm.

i'd love to see an EAB meet setup ie pay a few quid in etc meet up with like minded ppl etc would be great as some of us have forgotten so much about Amiga's and how to work them it's amazing!

I know a lot of us here these days just have pc's with winuae but hey fair enough! I have both as do most, any respectable EAB'er has to have a real Amiga even if you don't use it

Would be like the old days of the scene party's that i never went to etc lol

@alewis sorry to hijack your thread m8 but the map locale would be a good idea as cheshire is near lancashire init? see my geography is crap no wonder i failed it at school!

I'm a French guy, living in France... but I'm also a fan of Lewis Carroll's, so perhaps this kind of qualifies me for any "Cheshire-related" matters ?!

@snarkhunter - LOL!

@sarek - no worries, when my situation improves I'll see if I can organise something locally, we have some good venues, and I could prolly persuade a couple local comanies to "assist" if they get some promotion out of it.

@ray - we must get together sometime. I don't have transport atm though :-(

Why did I wager at a so high bet that Lewis Carroll would be mentioned?

Try

www.frappr.com/amigausers

That should bring up a map, to which you can add your location to. If not - PM me!!! Its not easy to figure out how to display what others see - it insists on loggin in and displaying it as a page

If it doesn't work, it should look like www.frappr.com/2cpu

@musashi - should work... I've not used frapper before, its somewhat unintuitive. Unfortuately the nicks "eab" and "eabuser" were taken, so its amigausers.

@dastardly - lucky you, you only have to visit... ;-)

Well, Crewe isn`t a brochure town for Cheshire, such as Knutsford, or some postcard villages, but Winsford isn't exactly a desirable location either
