Question CU Amiga - AMOS Listings

Several Months ago I downloaded the May 1993 Issue of CU Amiga from Amiga Treasureland.

That Issue contained the first part of an AMOS PacMan programme Listing.

Now I want to get the Listings from the next Three Issues but sadly I'm having difficulty tracking them down.

I'd spoken to the owner of the Amiga Treasureland Site before and he can only upload Magazines which other people have sent him.

I thought that someone might have uploaded the Code to Aminet but I couldn't find it.

I've also looked on the CU Amiga CoverDisks at Planet Emulation but I don't think the Source Code was placed on the Disks.

What makes Me more angry is that I used to own all the Issues that I now desperately need.

Can anyone help me?

Same boat as me mate. Had the entire CU Amiga magazine from issue one and got rid of the whole lot.

Must admit I don't remember AMOS listing for a Pacman game but then amnesia and years of being brainwashed with Amiga mags, Amos programming and constant game playing probably has something to do with it!

Anyhow - don't know if the game MAY have been released on one of these source code disks (or part of a compilation) text listing here. Just keep scrolling down the list and you'll see listings of many AMOS disks.

If you find it: Download AMOS PD disks from here: http://www.filewatcher.com/b/ftp/ftp...d/lha.0.0.html

Hope that helps in some way. If not, hope your mission succeeds.

I remember the tutorial in the mag, but don't recall anything on the coverdisks.
It was a 3D Pacman if i'm correct?

@quahappy

Thanks for the advice, I'd already checked on the AMOS PD Site.

There were several versions of PacMan on there but not the CU Amiga one.

@Magno Boots

3D PacMan would have been nice but it was just plain old 2D PacMan.

It looks like I'm just going to have to keep searching for it.

BLIMEY!!! Yes, remember it clearly now. ffs, soon as I saw your screenshot I recall the Pacman 4(?) part listing. I even typed it all in and saved it. But that was years ago and disks have long been binned.

Seriously a case of someone having these magazines and doing a scan for you now then.

I'll scan them for you some time this week.

The AMOS games programming DIY articles ran from April-Dec 1993 (9 parts al in total). Parts 1-5 deal with programming a Pacman game, 6-8 Asteroids (there are two part 6s)

Thanks a lot, I've just downloaded them.

I'd been after those Programme Listings for Years.

Update...

I've taken the Scans, placed each one on an A4 page and created a .PDF Document.

Get it here.
