You know I was having a browse through wb and the only whdload files I can see are the install file, I don't think WHDLoad is actually installed?? maybe thats the problem! What folder does it install to usually?

Where have you installed Flood? You need to put the folder after CD. For example if Flood is installed in 'Games' (which I just saw ) it would be 'CD Games:Flood'.

Edit : That would explain it... Run the install then. You said that you have the whdload file in 'C' of your System partition. Not the folder, the file.

Ok this is what happend (see below) not a lot!
I installed WHDLoad and clicking on the games still dont work either.

There are three more programs in the WHDLoad package. In the folder 'C' of WHDLoad you'll find :

DIC
Patcher
RawDIC

Make sure they are also in 'C'.

I copied them over but they were already in there, so I copied over the old files ..

No idea then, sorry. Since WHDLoad is found (otherwise the CLI method would have complained) there must be something else wrong.

nvm thankyou for all your help on this so far, I'm gonna attempt trying out AmigaSYS now, so look out for more problem posts shortly lol

In 'chipset' tab you have 'chipset extra' set to a500 do a1200 or generic here
In 'ram' Tab set slow and fast ram to none and maybe some more z3 fast
maybe more rtg too

Maybe just try the A1200 4 MB expanded quickstart for a start. WHDLoad works just fine with it.

the config was from Lemon Amiga when I set up the hard drive
