Tales of Tamar: New demo version

Now that Tales of Tamar is shipping, a new demo version is available on Aminet:

(Note that this is labeled a "tech demo": you can't actually play the game, as that would require access to their server, and you'll have to pay to get that access).

The full version of ToT will be uploaded to Aminet later on. They want to support Amiga Magazines, that's why these get the free version a few months earlier than Aminet.

You pay more for the playing on the server then ?

If I understood it correctly, the packed version for 70€ includes a pre-paid amount of turns...

I think he means the full (playable) version of the demo, as opposed to the rolling/trailer/tech demo.

Tales of Tamar is free - at least the software is. The version you can order at dealers comes in a professional Box, complete with printed manuals, an impressive and very long intro, a complete CD soundtrack (3 CDs in total) and includes 300 turns (1 turn per day).

Exactly the same software (without the intro and the CD soundtrack) will be available from CoverCDs and Aminet. To play ToT you will have to buy a certain amount of turns seperately. There will be various offers, the cheapest one will be 10 EUR (IIRC, actually I'm not sure about this one), for people that just want to have a look at the game.
