Plenty of times, but most of those times they give you other, saner choices besides arimail.

This kind of stuff isn't exactly urgently needed most of the time, I think I can wait for the damn boat in the interests of saving a buck or two.

It is nice that Germany is just about 125 miles away for me
I paid about 200DKR or 35USD the one time that I bought from Vesalia. But there was a LOT more than just a cd-case..

I really shouldn't complain, as SoftHut's price is mich higher even with the shipping.

I shouldn't make a big deal about the shipping either- Everyone does it, and it's probably the only way they make a buck on anything. Sorry about that.

Note that you are off-EU
I'd pay the same dough to ship to Switzerland. Hence most German sellers will not accept Swiss bidders. Some go moaning about "discrimination", but they live in a non-EU country, so if they want to complain they gotta emigrate eh

I just noticed something - Vesalia's store software seems to use an old exchange rate when browsing and even calculating shipping, but it looks like it uses a more up-to-date rate when actually paying. Oops.

Very subjective post. Never had problems with Vesalia, plus they always answered my mails.

The ACard i ordered from them cost 53,9€ at the time, but when i had paid the order the price jumped to 85,9€! AFTER i had paid they send a sorry-email to me about the price:

(blabber)
"We have just noticed that we are selling those adapters below our own
price, which is certainly not a good idea." etc.

It's not MY fault they have a lower price in there and i've just paid it already. So i was a little pissed but will pay the extra amount to get that damn converter...

Is it too late to just cancel? You're basically paying CFPowerMonster prices for a run-of-the-mill ACard.

Thanks for the tip! I actually sent a cancellation message to Vesalia and used "buy-it-now" on Ebay. The amount 85,9€ is now reduced to roughly 31€ (incl. postage!) so i've saved a bunch of euros

Maybe i start hangin' around Fleabay more often...

Yes, I find a disturbance in the force. How they can justify an almost 50% increase in price is just daft... although if they can see a demand then greed has probably got the better of them
