AmigaDOS Brackets

I'm trying to work with a path with open and close brackets in the name and keep getting 'object not found'. Is there a replacement escape command I can use in AmigaDOS to replace them?

e.g.

Code:
Copy dh0:(foo)/#? TO dh1:(bar)/#? ALL

is it a must? brackets are used to pattern match so arent that great a thing to use in normal filenames/folders.

try

Copy dh0:'(foo')/#? TO dh1:'(bar')/#? ALL
