Yie Ar Kung-Fu vs Kung-Fu Master - Which is Best?
So It's another edition of "VS - Which is The Better Game" and this month I'm placing 2 classic Arcade / C64 beat'em-ups against eachother, they are Yie Ar Kung-Fu and Kung-Fu Master, which game do you find better and more enjoyable?!,...only your votes will determine that.

Imo not directly comparable. 1 vs 1 fighter and a scrolling Brawler. Though i prefer Yie Ar Kung-Fu. Kung-Fu Master can be a bit repetitive after a few minutes.

never played the arcades of either, and dont think I played Kung Fu master at all.....maybe?
But Yie Ar Kung Fu game with my +3 Spectrum. Good times. Not just fighting my siblings, but laughing our heads off when mum and dad had a go. |

Yie Ar Kung Fu was for many years my favourite game ever, kind of..
And it's the spiritual grand daddy of Street Fighter. So it's a clear winner here for me. (and I played the arcade version in a local store in 1985) Last edited by Tigerskunk; 18 September 2019 at 09:55. |

It's a tie for me...
though, I agree that they are not comparable (not same gender). Played both version on my C64, and both had great gameplay, nice graphics and music with soundfx. |

Played only Yie Ar Kung-Fu in arcades and have found memory of it. Later played it a lot on C64. I don't remember getting far in Kung-Fu Master mostly because I disliked repetition. Probably should revisit that game and try to complete it.
Even, those 2 games are quite different genre, I would still say Yie Ar Kung-Fu is far better game. |

Vigilante was perhaps a better comparison - I think it is either the official (or spiritual) successor to KFM
Out of the choices, YAKF for me |

Kung Fu Master is a far superior game.
