They are the programs that will let you use the CF card in the PCMCIA slot the side of the A1200 to transfer files easily with your laptop.

They may be on your HDD already, but not installed correctly (then you would only need to find them and install them)

Or someone may have to send you a floppy disk with them on. Easy for lots of UK Amiga owners.

I do have a floppy disk that I found. It relates to the CF card.

So im going to try and see if I can get that up and running. I guess the hard part is, I don't know what it 'should' look like.

Will I see another drive?

Also can you hot swap these cards?

Cool that floppy disk will have CFD and FAT95 and possibly other things. Is it EasyADF?

Pop the floppy disk into the drive, it should show up as a new DF0: Icon on the Workbench desktop, double click on it and it should show an icon to do a HD install. This should install and configure CFD & FAT95 so the next time you reboot your Amiga (without the Floppy in) the PCMCIA CF adapter should be readable.

Yes your PCMCIA CF card (once CFD is working) will appear as another drive icon on the workbench desktop when boot. (You currently have System, Music, Games + RAM). Because it may have no icons on it, you will have to use the menu to "show all items" to see the files on it.

The PCMCIA adapter cards are not hot-swap. You have to power your Amiga off when transferring the CF card to and from the PC.
