Hi from Birmingham UK
Hi all I have been a long time retro gamer (well gamer) and currently am one of the hosts on a free podcast called RGDS (Retro Gaming Discussion Show
https://retrogamingdailyshow.libsyn.com/ ) before that I was on the Retro Asylum podcast... I adore my Amiga and whilst own the original hardware and goteks etc... been loving the ease of the Amiga Mini, playing through the Amiga library. Incidentally in the past I have written a number of free digital books... Bitmap Bros: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bzv...-VdbUruMtetzwg Psygnosis: http://amigagamer.blogspot.com/2014/...e-mag.html?m=1 Star Wars Video Games : https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bxv...vQMh9GjqUe0F3g mastertronic: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bzv...Dt2sZWh-cWrVeg I also did the early days of vid gaming up to 1976 https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bzvd4KYph8BNV3hVWnJraDJJdVk/view?resourcekey=0-_Vx2opm4vhtE9YOlzfGscw I am currently working on a free Amiga book... although its super ambitious...and very rough right now... but you can see my progress here https://drive.google.com/file/d/1osY...ew?usp=sharing Another mad project I also did was my You tube channel here where I did a detailed guide to video game history https://www.youtube.com/user/TheDrisk#p/u that reached up to Dreamcast / PS2 era and finally I did a project where I scanned in my entire Games-X magazine collection a noticed the web didn't have them all https://drive.google.com/drive/folde...fL?usp=sharing So all in all, I am a bit mad, but my passion for retro gaming is immense |

Welcome to the forum. I thought that user name sounded familiar. I used to listen to those podcasts.

Hi Paul,
Welcome to EAB. Thanks for the links to your books - I'll be reading those on my next few train journeys. I'll probably start with the Mastertronic one, as I have fond 8-bit memories of some of those games on my Dragon32 and my mates C64s and ZXSpectrums! Are you aware of the currently running Kickstarter project: The Commodore 64 Collectors Guide to Mastertronic? http://kck.st/3NfJokI Simon |

Can't get the History of Psygnosis pdf/book to download...?
When I click the link, GoogleDocs goes to an Access Denied page and states "You need access Ask for access, or switch to an account with access." Am I missing something? |
