I did a little hack today to demonstrate how Metro Siege composites character animation frames from many smaller images. Full disclosure - the video below is not running on an Amiga, but the mac version I use for development.

Hehe... great.

You could do a hidden secret patch for level, where enemy burst to pieces like in Gloom.

OMG you need to make the baddies explode when you give them the final punch, that would be amazing and very satisfying.

Back on topic, this characters decomposition is awesome.

alpine9000, you have to find a way to insert it into the final game somehow.

More fun with with animation decomposition (now with reconstitution!)

This time it's the Amiga version running on an A500 (emulated).

You have to incorporate this stuff into the game, as a, sort of, easter egg.
Maybe, something like old Mortal Kombat 2 that unlocks stuff.
For example, if you beat first boss only by using the legs, in the second level, enemies explodes when they die.

Or... some bonus level where you drive something (skate, or motorcycle) and you carry a rocket launcher, and shoot into enemies that explodes like this... something like Captain Commando driving bonus levels.
-------------

P:S.
I said "you have to"... I am not demanding anything of course... just giving ideas.

Or why not as a secret key-press code that is provided in the end credit sequence if you manage to beat the game.

All of this could come in handy for having the character destroy a wall (or whatever).

Is DaemonClaw designed for a plain A500?

More than impressive!

DaemonClaw in many ways is less taxing that MetroSiege - the Amiga target would definitely be A500

Don't offer an explanation in the game, just make it part of the game that they explode when they die, it would help make the game well known because it's hilarious and satisfying.
