Hi demoniac,

thanks for the info. Rob counted Charlie J Cool with '+27' because every level had to be patched. I just checked the old trainer releases from Flashtro and came to my conclusion. I will send the disks in the next weeks to idoru or adderly (I guess both of them will know how to do it right). But I will include alternative renames with your method, so they just need to pick the right one .

This reminds of Anthrox's Apidya trainer where the coder wanted to use +200 as he had to do +40 for all 5 levels, but he left it at +40.

I've noticed that in my collection there are a number of cracked versions of Star Wars Empire Strikes Back & also Return of The Jedi (about 4 or 5 from Quartex)...but none with trainers.

Rob, since you clearly know the score 100%...can you shed any light on why? Are they "untrainable"?

PZ.

Jedi vesion is now +1, in the zone.
On the other version, there is a file on the disk called empire_trainer. Change the startup-sequence to run this file instead of empire. If it does not work, i'll have a lookie

Rob, thanks so much...I wasn't even asking for a trainer, just wondering about why it hadn't been done before...but you still came through with one anyway? LEGEND!!!!

Downloaded it & will test right now

PZ.

*EDIT* - Unlimited lives works perfectly...very cool as I have a Star Wars nutter of a mate...I'll be giving this to him...with Rob credited of course!

Thanks for the Stormlord trainer Rob
Btw : I have written to [idoru] about the counting system of the '+' on trainer. You don't count the activation in the trainer menu, but you count all the keys. It doesn't matter if there is a corresponding trainer option or not.

HEY! Hmm, I think Mr. CyberDruid and me are trainer lovers, heh!

Yes that's a clear wishlist except I think that DD2 maybe a nightmare to train. I mean this game is those bugged ones that even won't properly play on Kickstart1.3. Shame because this game is pretty good (as all the Amiga's DDs)... Also Linel-L game called CRACK is those rare games made in time of Kick1.2 and then corrupts the graphics in Kick1.3...
