cd32 tf330 and two cfcards at once?
i was wondering if it is possible maybe with the right ide adaptor to have a setup with 2 cf cards at once.
i already have a card that was setup for me with lots of whdload games etc. but i would like another card with earok's cd32 collection aswell. i don;t fancy pulling the TF330 in and out too often so was hoping that a dual cf card setup was possible. hopefully it would not draw too much power and the tf330 could support it. |

Why not just have a longer IDE cable that just comes out at the back of the CD32, then you just swap cf cards

i could do that i guess. i will have to see when the 3d printed outer cover i purchased from ebay arrives. i think the fit will be flush and nowhere for the longer cable to come out without removing the cover.

You might have to get a Dremel out and modify it

yeah that is what i will end up doing if 2 card setup is not possible.
also i was wondering when setting up a new cfcard for earok's image. do i have to do anything to prepare the card or can the image be copied to a fresh card as is. i'm thinking that the image itself would contain all the amiga filesystem etc? edit - also if i want to create a fly lead to disable/enable the tf330 is it as simple as using 2 male/female dupont leads as a jumper extender. i found a pic that looks like that is how it is done but wanted to be sure. Yeah you can just image earoks` card using Win32diskimager or `WinImage` and write it to another card.
Yes just make a extended Disable jumper from two Dupont leads, Female to Male so you can shove a jumper on easily like one I did on a TF328, see pic below https://i.imgur.com/4aVEL7S.jpg |
