Hello everyone.

I've just joined as I have just purchased a possibly broken A1200.

I'm an old techie that started out on the BBC Micro in the 80s.
I never owed an Amiga at the time (I had an ST) and I'm eager to try the Amiga out.

Looking at this machine I can already see that the expansion possibilities are way beyond what the ST could do and can do now.

So now I am taking it apart, cleaning it and deciding what to do with it.
Looks like it has the original hard disk in side and has Kickstart 3.0 in it.

I also got a 2 VIDI Video encoder boxes with it. No idea how useful they are.

I'm sure I will have more posts with various questions and pictures of this less than perfect system.
