Leaderboard Golf and Tournament Wanted Team

Hi

Wanted team cracked the Leaderboard Golf and Tournament versions for Amiga. I cannot get them to run on normal Amiga 500 KS 1.3 with 512k slow additional mem at all. Is anyone able to fix this (Not sure if Don Adan is still avaialble for this ? ). (the game gurus)

These two:

WT-LB.DMS (326578 bytes) - "Leader Board" from Access Software.
WT-LBTD.DMS (327885 bytes) - "Leader Board - Tournament Disk 1" from Access Software.

On their page:

http://wt.exotica.org.uk/others.html

Here are the .ADF versions:

http://pc.sux.org/tomcat/LB.zip

Hope someone can get them running on an A500 with 1Mb of mem... (so far there is no cracked Tournament version that runs anywhere)

Best regards,
Tomaz

Yeah, I had the same issue with the Wanted Team cracks of both games... tried many different configs.

I ended up using the WHDLoad version of Leader Board Tournament Disk #1; and I think the version of Leader Board that's in GameBase Amiga (or maybe even the IPF).

Unfortunetly whdload needs KS 2.0 so this is not an option, even though 1Mb would be enough even for the preload.

I can easily create a working disk version as I had to remove the protection for the WHDLoad version.

Nice release! Years ago there were plans to make a N0S Amiga section. Shame nothing ever came out of that though.

Home now, correction to the above...

I use the "Leader Board (1986)(U.S. Gold)[h BST - Three Amigos].adf" which works perfectly

Only downside is the hacked screen, which I hate i.e. "Imported By BM of the Three AMIGOS", but this is probably easily fixed with a Hex Editor:

Yes, but the "Tournament" edition, which has all new courses, cannot be found in working condition anywhere (apart from the WHDLoad version).

Yes I know, so would be great if Sting creates an .ADF

An Amiga nostalgia section would rock.there are a few of us who are also huge Amiga fans... And there are loads of classic Amiga games in need of quality treatment.

Nope, I currently don't have much time for any Amiga stuff due to deadlines at work. Next week I'm on holiday so no Amiga stuff then either. I'll do the properly working disk version the week after.

Right before I'll leave for another vacation I've finished the Leaderboard crack. I've fixed the memory allocation bugs which made the game run badly on machines with fast memory, fixed the wrong interrupt check and of course cracked the dongle protections. And I also patched both games to run on one disk.

My pleasure, the release itself was ready (except for the memory fix) the week after my first summer vacation, I then spent (too much) time coding a new intro and in the end decided to reuse my (slightly improved) code from 2014.

I have also checked the Wanted Team releases now and they are badly cracked! The dongle checks haven't been removed properly, the result of the dongle check is faked but due to trashing register a0 the game crashes due to illegal memory access!
