Bit of a heads up!

There is currently a chap on Ebay selling 700 disks and they appear to be
NBS stuff. Some have the original labels, some appear to be just plain copies with written on disk labels and originals again but written over.

I suspect a lot of these disks are easily available already via the UPD Gold, but there could be some lost gems in this lot!

I am trying to justify buying the lot, but the seller wants at least £20.00 for each bundle of 100 and I will have to sneak them past my Wife lol.

NBS & External Gotek

External Gotek now operational. Will try to produce an ADF of the NBS cat disk shortly. Can copy from Gotek to internal floppy, so now time to try floppy to USB.

Just trying to follow this post as I really love anything about the old PD Libraries & have the CD sets for 17Bit & UPD. As far as I'm aware though an actual NBS floppy disk collection doesn't exist (as opposed to the UPD CDs) so nostalgia aside what use would the library disks be. Or am I wrong?

Sorry if the confusion was caused by myself. I don't have the full NBS PD library of floppy disks but I do have two of their floppy catalogue disks and about 70 NBS floppys in my collection. Gradually converting to adf's. I guess the Cat disks are of use as a reference tool to anyone trying to build a complete collection of NBS offerings and as an aid in hunting disks down.

The UPD set that keeps getting mentioned has a chunk of stuff missing, all the quirky stuff, all the adult and rude humour disks are missing, there appears to be no catalogue disks either.

So thank you hugely if whatever you have is working and you are able to adf it! that is brilliant
Hiya, have you made any progress with collecting the missing disks?

Did you archive the catalogue disks?

If you did I cannot remember if I ever got around to saving them or not.

Pretty much paused. From what I know the majority of NBS disks were just the usual stuff that every other pd house had in their catalogues. I just wish their was a TRUE snapshot archive of every single disk they had.

But NBS did have some things they had created and it is these disks I would like to find and save. So far only a few disks have turned up but without knowing exactly how many exclusive disks they put out! it means this will probably never be resolved.
