Seems to be an ABIv1 (or ABIv11) problem only. Complain to AROS devs.
btw. if you want that MUI/Zune remembers the position and size of the window you can tell it to do so. in MUI/Zune Prefs under "Windows" is a setting that it remembers the position on exit or you can activate the MUI window menu icon an make an snapshot, then it will remember exactly that position and size. |

Does your version of AROS 64 run on Virtual Machine, or is it just a hosted version? I don't like Hosted versions.

On "Get Original" can be associated a Player as it was done with "Get As MPEGA".
I ask this because it would be convenient to Play the Video automatically after downloading it into RAM, thank you. On AROS 68k CDXL videos can be played with Multiview, on AROS x86 there are no Datatypes but CDXL videos can be Played just fine with "CDXLPlay". |

Hi, Thanks again for your work, I tried version 0.8 with: "Amigaos4.1 with Voodoo 3" in emulation with winuae (latest version) it works perfectly. I watched the video in streaming and then I also downloaded the video to view it with MickJT-Player everything works perfectly. The output still remains but it is absolutely not a problem. Thanks again. here a sample video: https://we.tl/t-IclfYCguqS On the other hand, your work is interesting now that I am using linux again after a long time. I was gladly reading your blog on the subject. :-) |

I wanted to ask you, if something like this could be included in AmiTube. The example is very simple in this case I am using "Odyssey 4.1FE" I did a test with an existing script in this case "YT.rexx" here the reference program: http://os4depot.net/share/video/misc/yt.lha it's just an example to make the idea simple: I added this in Odyssey context menus: Link YT c: RX YT.rexx%l silent autoplay I modified YT.cfg like this: PathMP="Amiga:Utilities/AmiTube/AmiTube using "Odyssey" I directly open the youtube page I choose the video that interests me AmiTube opens and here the modification requested by me would always be possible: I copy the video link and paste it directly into AmiTube I choose to view it directly and it works perfectly. Could you automate this easy-to-implement process so that it happens automatically? In summary, it is a question of directly transmitting the link of the chosen video to AmiTube via script and starting it automatically. Thank you. I leave you a short video to show you in practice it is probably much easier to see it to understand the idea. https://we.tl/t-X0ra2loCHP |

Thanks ALB42 AmiTube v1.0 works perfectly on my AROS One x86.
It's a pity that MPlayer on AROS x86 is obsolete and doesn't allow to run the "Use URL Player" function. I didn't understand well how "Use Download Tool" works, if I use it a file of zero Kb is saved. Last edited by AMIGASYSTEM; 19 July 2022 at 18:47. |

Thanks for the new version, and for example arexx scripts I still haven't been able to get them to work as I would like, but your AmiTube adapts very well to a number of functions Using the 4.1 FE in emulation I enjoy trying various things. Here I used SMTube ( it doesn't work anymore because the "public API KEY" is no longer active. ) But using AmiTube 1.0 I simply used SMTube to have an interface to use for video searches and then made it work with AmiTube. And it works perfectly with AmiTube I don't know about SMTube copyright, but AmiTube could be easily integrated with SMTube interface. Or this might give you an idea on how to make AmiTube even better. Thanks again for your work. Here you can see how SMTube works with AmiTube: https://we.tl/t-9mphUuPAfu separate note: I tried AmiTube with "TwitchTV" and it works hopefully I'll give you more details on this in case you find it interesting. |

here you can see "TwitchTV" even if the search includes a whole group of videos the reproduction is perfect. The single video chosen with the selected link should probably be improved. But as you can see it works well: ( videos are played at 720p ) https://we.tl/t-mVmvpFp6XH the 4.1 FE system is patched to adapt it to the use of winuae but the base remains that I have only adapted the various applications to make them compatible with winuae. But this is not important. Your application can play videos on "TwitchTV" I believe it is so. Last edited by White; 18 March 2022 at 16:19. |

here I did a test with Morphos (PowerBook G4 1.67 real machine) currently i have done these two tests: the first directly in the WayFarer Browser without using AmiTube and FFPlay you can try its use at this link: https://tunkki.dk/~jaca/player.html the second with AmiTube associated with FFPlay (version 4.4) It works but not perfectly, sometimes it crashes I don't know the cause probably due to FFPlay or of course "AmiTube" is not designed for that. Strangely, with the 4.1FE in emulation it works perfectly and never crashes. In case you want to have a look to see if it can be improved here I have made a video with Morphos I have not recorded the audio out of laziness. https://we.tl/t-nJ56DOgYsI Note that there is currently no way to watch twitchTV on Morphos other than this way. |

I hope you understand that 68k and ffplay has nothing to do with Morphos is 4.1FE :-) |

I'm sorry Paolo, I thought you were using the FFPlay native OS3 version on MOS!

Not a problem, Morphos is a new system for me, and there is always something to learn. But there are differences between the various versions of ffplay. And probably the problem is ffplay (Morphos) because on AmigaOS 4.1FE it works perfectly ffplay I don't use it simply because I can only watch the videos in 360p. While with MickjT-MPlayer I see them at 720p. here you can see ffplay with AmiTube that works perfectly by continuing to see videos consecutively with the 4.1FE :-) https://we.tl/t-qCSk3EFhim |

I wanted to do a further test
here about ten streaming worked without problems in this case I also recorded the audio. It would be to understand for those who program and then do some tests where the problem may arise. It must also be said that AmiTube should actually only give one link while it loads a stream series instead. Of course it works well, but it should be evaluated and studied better by the developers of the individual applications in most of the times it works fine: maybe only some streams are not loaded or ffplay is unable to handle them In practice it works but should be perfected here an example: https://we.tl/t-p1UkvgCfjM |
