How to locate 3 different 1.3 roms for WHDLoad?
I am running in a little snag here. I am installing Classic Workbench with the help of WinUAE. Here I set everything up. I also copied my whdload key to the S map and it is also said to copy the rom files to the DEVS map.
Here in this map there are 3 different 1.3 rom files, these have the following version numbers: - 33.180 - 33.192 - 34.005 I was happy to still have the original A1200 roms, but I am kind of clueless where to get these roms. I don't mind buying them if needed, but as long they are present I am happy. So my question is, are these specific rom files available on the Cloanto cd-rom? If not, where to get these files? I have not 3 different A500's lying around. :-) |

I might be wrong, but I think you only need one of the three for WHDLoad. The cheapest way to get one legally is to get the Amiga Forever Essentials pack here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ver.essentials

I just checked Amga Forever 9 Plus and there are only two kickroms with version 34.2 dated 28 Oct 1987 in there (labeled 1.3). Is there a tool to check the version number of a kickrom file?

I indeed found out that 33.800 is the 1.2 variant and the 34.005 (not confirmed) probably then the 1.3 variant and that 33.192 was indeed a typo.
But what I found so weird when watching a tutorial about installing Classic Workbench, using WinUAE, the author of that video on YouTube, this video : [ Show youtube player ] (scroll to 21:50) you see him using a 33.192 file, hence my question to this person where did he obtained that file? |
