is there a difference of speed between chip ram, fast ram, slow, z3 fast, rtg, mb low area and high area? with winuae offcorse.
If yes,an d i think it's,which is the most fast and could we have an option to put the chipram to the fastest speed? Last edited by turrican3; 07 June 2007 at 20:58. |

I doubt, those memory options are probably only for compatibility issues.
Well, the speed is probably "slowed" in some cases by the emulator, so we could actually see what we play ![]() For a technical explanation: Heeeere's Toni! ![]() |

A500 mode: ram speed is emulated (from approximate to ~cycle-exact depending on configuration)
All other modes: All memory is really fast. BUT chip ram speed can and will change between versions. |
