How to set the display refresh rate
Hi!
My LCD monitor works with 1920*1080 60Hz (windows). How to set the WinUAE display refresh rate? Set to "60Hz NTSC"? With this setting works smooth, but some games too fast (pinball fantasies AGA, etc) With other settings not run smooth. Thanx M. |

The display resolution (1920*1080) has nothing to do with the speed of the gameplay other than consuming your PC resources.
The vertical screen refresh rate (60Hz) is the NTSC standard over the PAL (50Hz) and also has nothing to do with speed of game play other than the legacy clock timings that saw PAL machines run games slower than NTSC games on NTSC machines. Turning off JIT and setting CPU cycle-exact is the way I found works. Especially with WHDLoad titles. |
