I downloaded Sonnet pack from Aminet https://aminet.net/package/driver/other/SonnetLibrary
but when I start InitPPC I always receive the following requester from powerpc.library: "Could not find a supported Mediator board" I have Mediator 4000D, reported by Showconfig as Prod=2206/191($89E/$BF) and Prod=2206/63($89E/$3F). What can I do? Maybe there is any newer powepc.library? Where can I look for it? |

Which Mediator 4000D is that? MK-3, MK-2?
Which version of PCI.library are you using? This shouldn't matter that much as the powerpc.library should complain if you are using the wrong version. Is your Voodoo or Radeon card working properly? This should complain if there is no supported VGA card. What PPC card are you using? Post your full system specs or at least showconfig output. Post your PCIINFO output. |

Aminet is 17.12.
Last version in assembly is 17.13b. Rewritten library in C is 17.14. Both support MK3 version. |

The server was taken offline due to maintenance is the short and not entirely accurate answer. Should be up soonish.
Did you check the first post, btw? |

Thank you very much! |

17.14 is a bit slower in the context switch to M68K (500 microseconds versus 370. Note that CSPPC also does 500 microseconds with WOS. This seems a lot but for example in glQuake the fps is like 6-7% lower. I intend to replace one 68K function with asm to correct that) but has more memory options. It looks how much Z3 space is left and tries to fit as much in as possible (17.13 would give 128MB while 17.14 gives 192MB if Z3 space is >191 and <256 on harrier cards). It is more autoconfig (17.13 has more ENV options to fix that).
17.14 supports Prometheus.library (where it can) and also supports Permedia2 PCI cards (2D). If pci.library 14.0 ever sees the light of day I do not intend to update 17.13. So I would say if 17.13 works for you, go with that. Do a speed test when a new 17.14 comes out (soonish) and change when equal to 17.14. |

@Hedeon
I can only find 17.12 on Aminet - can you advise where to download 17.13b? http://aminet.net/search?query=sonnet only yields 17.12. Unless I am searching for the wrong thing. |

I have a question is it possible to run PPC Apocalypse without a Voodoo card? I have a prometheus with firestorm firmware.
