You need the software that comes with IDEFIX or some other CDROM driver....

ftp://de.aminet.net/pub/aminet/disk/...amicdfs240.lha AmiCDFS 2.40 is a free cd-rom filesystem, that supports iso9660, rockridge and mac hfs.

with best regards,
gunatm

...........and if you call the CDROM device CD:, CD0: or CDROM: then you'll get a nice default icon for the CD drive that matches the Workbench.

The reason I don't install CDROM support by default in the Classic WB is it needs to be setup by the user as hardware configs differ.

I've never needed amicdfs and I've never heard it was called the best cd filesystem before (not because it isn't, I'm just aien to it)

I suggest Idefix, or AsimCDFS.

Well, idefix is shareware with a nag screen, there are ways to get rid of it. One of that ways is clicking on the pm button below this post

AmiCDFS is pretty good. I tried Asim and the Xetec CDFS when I had a BBS and only AmiCDFS could recognize (properly) the 7 CD changer I was using. The others seemed to ignore LUN settings and not allow changing or ejecting individual trays.
