You bought another one just in case the one I was repairing for you was permanently dead?

Your 20% chance of survival didn't sound good and not to be mean, you are not exactly regarded as an optimist round these parts!

I am a glass is completely empty type of guy (oh btw it's your round isnt it?)

As an engineer you always multiply your repair estimates by a power of 4!

Why are you keeping the more beat-up RAM module and selling the nicer one? Just curious.

Well I don't think anyone would buy the beat up one (and I wouldn't like to sell it as i'm not sure how long it will stay working - no offence to Alex but I think even he will agree he was surprised to see it live again!) and also i'm making a custom case for my A1200. The nice Hawk is too big for the case, the beat up one fits just nicely.
