You won't find much in the way of anything good for that version of Windows, as Windows gaming was virtually non-existent. It was only with the advent of Win95/98 that Microsoft started courting the games companies to get them to use Windows as the means of delivering their games.

Laser is correct, when 3.11 was around, most of the games were for DOS. Windows 3.11 required DOS and ran on top of it where later windows versions had dos prompts as a feature and gradually grew less and less able to play classic DOS games.

There were Windows 3.11 games but I can't think of one that I would care to play today as they were mostly tetris ports and the like. Trying to run windows 3.11 games today falls squarely in the "Doing it to see if you can" category.

Dosbox works great for PC and for the Mac. Now, I wonder if you can install windows 3.11 on top of that? haha

I most recently used it to replay the classic interplay game "Wasteland"

Nope Doom wouldn't work with Windows 3.11.
As for none Arcade games : Darkseed 2 was only for Windows 3.11 (which is a real shame ).

Of course it works with DOS, but not with Windows 3.11 I mean you can't start it within Windows 3.11. You have to quit to DOS to play Doom.

Well you got me there, Dos, Win3.11 not much difference really. I prefer Dos myself, easier to use.

Yup, Windows 3.11 is pretty pointless. There are just some pre Win95 32-bit apps and games that used Windows 3.11. For office use it was quite oaky, but not for home users.

3.1 not so bad - before Bartpe it was good for being a Small! Os to boot from USB stick also for 386/486 once youve added Fat32-Start menu and LFN suport.
