All Companion Disks for Abacus Books
Does anyone happen to have a collection of companion disks they could direct me to or provide in the zone?
Over the years I have collected most of the Abacus Book series but for some reason no one either had or purchased the disks that went with them. I don't want to go wadding through TOSEC or similair so any independent easily retrievable option is most welcome |

Hmmm... I should have at least 5 of them the original copies though a couple I remember had some bad tracks... will take a little time as my 2 main amigas are now both in bits. Send me a PM if I forget.
I would also be interested if someone has them too. Are they really in TOSEC too? That may be faster. |

I have no idea I just used it as an example of what I was trying to avoid. Never looked at TOSEC and there shouldn't be any reason to, this is supposed to be coders heaven, the disks are here somewhere I TELL YA! lol
okay, I'll try to send you a reminder New SDK for AmigaOS4.1 is released so that is what I'll be doing tonight! Woo Woo! |

These files are on Magix's FTP server in the "The Zone!" subfolder. The filenames are "Abacus_Machine_Language.zip" and "AmigaBASIC_Inside_Out.zip". See this thread to get access to Magix's FTP: http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=38697 prowler |

It sure is.
All files which drop out of the Zone after a week end up in that subfolder eventually, when DamienD decides to update it. It's always the first place to look if you find that you've missed a file. And if it's not there yet, just wait a while longer... BTW, there were three more disks uploaded to the Zone following those two in the Abacus Books series which you can now find on Magix's FTP server as well: Amiga Inside & Out (1991)(Alliance - Abacus)(Disk 1 of 3)[b](System).zip Amiga Inside & Out (1991)(Alliance - Abacus)(Disk 2 of 3)(Graphics).zip Amiga Inside & Out (1991)(Alliance - Abacus)(Disk 3 of 3)(Drives).zip prowler Last edited by prowler; 07 February 2009 at 22:47. |
