The A500 Mini support needed

So how do you "pack" your games on amiga to Lha that actually work on this device? I manage to pack 3 games, none of them work on this mini.

Good thing i didn't do it for 1000+ games and then test. Most games from whdownload dot com do run however there are still games that wont work.

Someone found someone who has created an unofficial update to the database etc which should fix a lot of the broken gtames. Just use these files istead of the ones on the main page
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ttD...PXoOM3I93/view

I haven't tried it asmy mini hasn't arrived yet.

The above database does not have the entry for Citadel 1.3, included on the free WHDLoad package.

So you should add this entry in the above xml in order to play:
<game filename="Citadel_v1.3" sha1="c05826ac45fc8092de7f16304eb7b0fff2de7680">
<name>Citadel</name>
<subpath>Citadel</subpath>
<variant_uuid>091d5c5e-f032-5323-b4e1-187d7b5f24e9</variant_uuid>
<slave_count>1</slave_count>
<slave_default>Citadel.slave</slave_default>
<slave_libraries>False</slave_libraries>
<slave number="1">
<filename>Citadel.slave</filename>
<datapath></datapath>
<custom>
C1:B:enable unlimited energy
</custom>
</slave>
<hardware>
PRIMARY_CONTROL=MOUSE
PORT0=MOUSE
PORT1=CD32
FAST_COPPER=FALSE
CLOCK=28
JIT=FALSE
SCREEN_AUTOHEIGHT=TRUE
SCREEN_CENTERH=SMART
SCREEN_CENTERV=SMART
</hardware>
<custom_controls>
joyport1_amiberry_custom_none_dpad_up=Cursor Up
joyport1_amiberry_custom_none_dpad_down=Cursor Down
joyport1_amiberry_custom_none_dpad_left=A
joyport1_amiberry_custom_none_dpad_right=D
joyport1_amiberry_custom_none_north=T
joyport1_amiberry_custom_none_west=R
joyport1_amiberry_custom_none_south=Return
joyport1_amiberry_custom_none_east=Space
joyport1_amiberry_custom_none_left_shoulder=Cursor Left
joyport1_amiberry_custom_none_right_shoulder=Cursor Right
joyport1_amiberry_custom_none_start=ESC
</custom_controls>
</game>

AFAIK using current THEA500-WHDLoad-package-1.0.0.zip only games listed in the xml do work. Self created lhas do not work due 'DH2: is read-only' and output redirection when starting whdload via T:auto-startup created by GameBootLoader

I think the read only bug can be fixed by creating the directories AUTOBOOTS and DEBUGS in the WHDLoad zip or do it manually on the USB stick after unzipping the WHDLoad zip

I've made a few lha's using the generic workbench slaves that work fine on the A500 mini. The main problem with the whdload install, is the lack of supplied kickstarts so older games fail to load and its missing the xpkmaster.library which prevents packed disk images loading. The GUI also need a CPU speed slider as some games are too fast or slow. This can be fixed by editing the uae file, but a slider would be useful.

I made a few tweaks to THEA500 mini folder that has improved WHDLoad compatability a lot and fixed a few issues with loading non database games.

Maybe the devs should have a look.

Can you please let us nubs know where to put files on A500 mini?
and if it is possible to you to "repair" History Line game and Battle Isle with datadisks? I would really appreciate for these 2.

Just copy the THEA500 folder onto you flash drive. Historyline and battle Isle won't work until the devs enable read/write on the whdload drive in amiberry.
