Thumbs up Problems with SmartFileSystem

I got some amiga parts for my A1200 yesterday, including an IDEFix Express, a 40GB 2.5" HD, and Kickstart 3.1.

I was ecstatic thinking i would finally get my amiga to boot something (i have no disks). So i followed killergorilla's guide to set up the hard drive using WinUAE, and installed the Workbench from adf's. And everything seemed to be ok, winuae would boot from it just fine.

But i can't get it to boot on the Amiga

First i had problems getting the disk to show up in the boot menu, but a little fiddling with the cables to and from the idefix took care of that.

Now the disk shows up in the boot menu, but when it attempts to boot (i presume), i get a red guru message, even if i boot with no startup sequence.

What could be wrong?

EDIT: Problem solved. Turns out my Mask had to be set to 0xFFFFFFFF, and not 0x7FFFFFFE, when i installed SmartFileSystem
