edit savegame

Hello,

First, I hope I'm in the right forum
For a month i'm playing some games again with winuae, since 20 years....
Now I was wondering how to edit some savegame or ingame.
For example, I'm playing world championship boxing manager.
I know it's possible to change the boxers abilities, but how I have no clue.
I've been working with the action replay rom and a sector editor (diskx), but still no idea how to work with this.
I've been reading the action replay manual, but still no clue at all.
Hope someone can help me.

the question is far too open ended, especially without knowing the specific game.

Try searching for a single stat, using the 'trainer' guide in the AR-III manual. From there you may gauge info info about how stats are stored to start considering editing save data

It has to do with hex editing.
As I was 13 years old and knew how it worked, it shouldn't be to difficult...

yes, it isnt difficult, if you know how.

you will only be able to find it by "investiating" the data. I doubt anyone is going to do that for you.

the trainer stuff on AR-III is just a clever way of hex editing, i still suggest you start with that. since you have the manual, you can easily learn all the functions it has to offer.
