Is there a tutorial about how to recreate ClassicWB?

You may say "just get ClassicWB"; and you would not be wrong; the issue is that it support up to 3.1; and after installing 3.2 I find it incredibly plain, compared to the experience with CWB.

So I am looking at tutorials that can show me how do I find and install all those goodies in CWB. By nose I see that it is using MUI and MagicWB, but that's as far as I was able to get.

Considering that no new releases were made to support 3.1.4, I assume that there won't be a 3.2 update for CWB either, so I just move on and try to make it myself instead Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks

So that should take care of the "look"; what about the rest of the apps and widgets? Is there a list of what is used in the CWB HDF so I can grab it from Aminet and install it?

That installs everything from the Classic Workbench pack, not just the Icons so once installed you're good to go.

I grabbed the Icons pack from CWB P96 so that I could update a few Icons for bits I'd installed but otherwise everything was there.

My 3.2 install now:

Awesome, so it is in fact a 3.2 version of CWB!

Question: I am running this on a 1200 with 030; not on UAE; how do I change the icons so I can use less colors ? I do not have the P96 on my 1200

It'll be fine by default it's setup to use 64 colours

Sounds good; will give it a spin.

On UAE it does look quite slow; the update of the window and in general all the drawing operations look quite heavier compared to CWB; is that normal? The config is the same as for CWB. I am going to port the install on my 1200 and see if that is also running slow.

Thanks, that did speed up things a tad; but the icon refresh is incredibly slow. Compared to ClassicWB full SP it takes almost twice to display all the icons. Is that due to 3.2 being more resource hungry? I am running at 16 colors with high res interlaced resolution (same I use on 3.1)
