Best Implementation Of Water (Amiga Games)

Anybody have any decent examples of water in Amiga games? Not talking about just a static block, something bit more interesting. Doesn't get much attention as a subject..

I really like the Animated layers of water in Agony, really gives the scene a sense of energy.

mcgeezer really did a sterling job of the water flows firstly on Round-03 and then other Rounds, this is very cool indeed

Also, in Sinbad And The Throne Of The Falcon (Atari ST Conversion), the water cycling in the intro and also when you are navigating your ship through the reef is nice

In Worms water is nicely animated, too.

@DamienD Sorry, which was the game you refereed to by mcgeezer? Nice example with Sinbad, looks pretty nice.

@ransom1122 Yeah, killing game show has nice touches, great reflection effect too.

@Nightshft Blimey, yes those parallax layers are quite impressive, maybe most technical example going.

Quite like the way Fury of the Furries does water, getting the inertia to feel good, simple but effective.

I like water in Fury of the Furries - it is simple but game got some nice puzzle related to it.
Lethal Weapon got "nice" looking water, it is not beautiful, it is dark, dirty, little transparent, little blue in harbor stage or green in sewers, can rise, picture bellow it is disorted and barrels\platforms float on it.
If I remember correct Lionheart water also got similar effects, but surface was animated like in Agony while water in Lethal Weapon got calm surface with little animated gradient shine.

War in Middle Earth by Melbourne House uses a good example of colour cycling for the water effects, specially for a pre-90's game.

I still like everything with water done by the great Jim Sachs the most.
That map of England in Defender of the Crown, Ports of Call, and all his studies done for that 20000 miles under the sea game that never happened.

See this for example:
http://amiga.lychesis.net/special/Co...Sea_Beach.html

Beats any other water effect on the Amiga, imho.

Nebulus 1 & 2 have an awesome reflective wavering water effect at the base of each tower.

I think in Pinkie there are some ok looking water levels.

Also in A New Adventure: FaYoh 2.

To be perfectly honest, I don't remember ever being impressed by any water effects on the Amiga.

I always thought the LEGEND + NEI intro on the 64 with the water and the raindrops was cool though.

Completely off topic, but the water in some PS4 games blows me away. Incredible how realistic it is.

I believe that Shadow of the Beast 2 has a nicely-animated whirlpool that you get sucked into, if I remember rightly.

It's cool to look at things that are under water. Also, sound is muffled when you jump into the water (accomplished with sound filter if I remember correctly).

Ugh! Water isn't that impressive to look at but features as a game-play mechanic (like the killing game show), quite nice.

Also, props to water that reflects everything, including enemies sprites, bullets etc.
