Demos by Kuma of EMPIRE or B.R.A.I.N.S

Before PHA and SCX I was in EMPIRE and B.R.A.I.N.S. My handle was Kuma then :P

Been rounding up my demos. Some of my older demos was overwritten way back, cos disks cost money :´(

If I'm lucky they're on some packdisk somewhere, or in some spreader's disk collection...

Searched a lot of places, ftp.amigascne.org, break's database, exotica... found two empire demos but they were not by me.

Got help at recordedamigagames, got TOSEC's .dat, hoping to use ClearMamePro to search it, after I sleep though.

Any BRAINS or EMPIRE demos/tips would be greatly appreciated! These were made in 1988, one has the classic Tutankhamon mask and another has 'Empire' sampled and pitched down to sound 'cool', lol.

btw B.R.A.I.N.S stood for 'BRAINS Rules Amiga IN Sweden'! Gimme a break haha

geez, those are hard to find.... are you sure none of your pals have them on old amiga disks?

I could help you transfer them to dms/adf if you like.

cheers

ps. could you list all demos, packs, etc. you still have on amiga disks?

I will during the xmas holidays. If I have my CatWeasel then I'll scan them in at the same time.

Anyone who finds even a screenshot will be on my eternal heroes list

Unfortunately, it's more likely that one of the spreaders closest to these groups have them on a disk in the attic than that it made it onto major packs. Still a chance that they found a way onto small party packs though.

One of the demos is entitled 'SuperSinus' and has a bunch of small routines using sine curves, including a vertical sine scroller using a bent sprite + a normal horizontal sine scroller + some small stuff. This information is for those who have a big harddisk/ftp archive and want to do a quick search I guess.

Were those Demos of EMPIRE or B.R.A.I.N.S ever produced for a competition? So make sure to also have a look in /pub/amiga/Parties/ on amigascne.org!
I've already found many ultra-rare demos in there which were not available from /pub/amiga/Groups.

i have checked all possible sites and cds I could find but nothing from empire (except the party 1990 demo)

best would be to ask other members of these groups
