Missing something moving to real amiga

I setup everything in WinUAE to match my machine (A1200, 68030 64Meg) and copied everything to a hard drive. The first partition is 1.5Gig formatted with SFS and the second is 4 Gig, also formatted SFS. When I put the drive in my amiga I get a back screen.

I also tried booting from a workbench disk and I can see the system partition fine. Any ideas what I should be checking?

This is running AmigaOS 3.1 with 3.0 ROMS. The drives are connected to a IDEFix-Express.

The most obvious question is if your hd is properly prepared for booting? Is SFS saved to HD's RDB and is there bootable flag set to first (system) partition?

You could also run check4gb to check if your system is configured correctly for that big partitions.

Found it. It was IDEFix causing me grief. Commented it out and reinstalled after it booted and everything works fine now.

Run Check4GB immediately. You might have 4G wrap around issue and in danger of losing all data sooner or later.

(and ignore clueless people)
