INDI AGAmk2 and V1200 not playing nice!

Hi, I am trying to get my native games displayed over the indivison but with the Vampire installed i just get a black screen. I patched the indivision config tool just incase but the problem persists... I tried experimenting with the Vampire monitor tool types and found that changing display chain to No would allow it to work as long as i dont power off the A1200 if i power off i find that on reboot the mouse cursor is stuck in the top corner and i have boot with no startup sequence to change the tool type back... i have been at this for hours and all i feel like doing is taking a hammer to my muched loved 1200 - please help!

Hi there! What do you mean with "native games"?
If you are talking about WHDLoad games it is normal that the output from the Vampire goes black when you start a game since the video is redirected to the Indivision output. I have the same configuration and I manually switch my monitor between the two video inputs.

im not talking about that - i meant the indivision isnt displaying something is blocking it and yes native games as in the amigas native chipset and not anything rtg. Also yes both my 500 and 600 both work as you describe with indiECS mk2's but my 1200 nope and sorry if i seem short just been at this since lunch time!

Have you tested the different resolutions with the Indivision tool?
If they are setup wrongly you will receive a distorted image or even just a black screen.
I attached to this message my configuration but it is ok for my 23" HP Monitor and probably it won't perfectly fit your but maybe it is a start.
You should upload my conf file and the test the PAL output. Also, be sure to have the PAL device in DEVS:Monitors/

yea - maybe I havnt explained properly... the indivison I have had a while and works great... then last week I got a V1200 and installed CoffinOS and this where the problem has started. do you use coffin? whats your set up? also thanks for the file I will test it.

just tried your profile - it works fine with displaychain tooltype set but then I cant move my mouse pointer - so frustrated right now.

Yes, I use CoffinOS R59... I don't know what I could suggest more... however I don't understand why you had to add displaychain tooltype to my configuration file (or to the Indivision tool... it isn't clear to me that as well...)

I ave sloved the problem - not sure how, I reimaged my SDCard with a fresh Coffin, loaded your config file and low and behold its working! no clue what was going on yesterday but it drove me mad!

This is a great news indeed!

Maybe the SD Card had some Filesystem errors that you fixed writing the OS on it a second time.
