After I saw this game, I spent ages thinking about how to make a good algorithm for simulating water filling up an arbitrary enclosed space in a realistic fashion. I really needed to get out more.

Sounds like a cool thing to do with modern fast physics simulation. I cannot remember any new game having real "dynamic" water. All water seems to be stationary nowadays, or changing in a pre-scripted fashion only.
Imagine being able to carry water in buckets and actually filling up part of a level. or flooding certain parts in a interactive way... |
