My FTP

I have decided to run my old FTP for a bit to see how it goes.

I only have about 70 kb/s upload speed so it's not the fastest but who cares.

2 user max on that account.

I keep stuff I use so don't expect to see Bally Astrocade files on there just your usual stuff from MAME no-intro and TOSEC.

Not sure how long it will be up for it depends how much help it is. In this day and age it might be too slow

Oh, if I gave you a login some months ago it'll still work now.

Thanks for sharing this, Ian.

You've got some hard-to-get files there, mate! The speed's no problem as it doesn't use all the bandwidth and it's okay to browse with it running in the background.

No pressure, just upload them now

I had some of them but deleted them when they were in the Amiga CD PD dat (I deleted most of them when they started to get really big), but then some bright spark decided to move them into the CD32 and CDTV dats.

Anyway, any uploads will be greatly appreciated.

As uploading during the hours of 4 and 9 gmt means I will hit my cap from my ISP the eab account and FTP (unless otherwise arranged) is disabled during those hours.

Well somethings broke.

Last night my PC switched off and wouldn't start up again. I removed everything gave it a good clean and it worked when I turned it on but something under one of the mobo heatsinks began to burn. God knows what it was but I suspect it is something to do with the on board network chip.

Anyway, I have disabled that and fitted a new network card and will test my PCs stability for the next few days.

If it's crap I'll need to buy another motherboard so don't expect my FTP back anytime soon if that is the case.

Sorry about this but I guess these things happen.
