Clipboard sharing: support for images

Multiview for example can display the clipboard contents and copy image parts to the clipboard. IrfanView on Windows can do the same. Would be nice if both would share the same clipboard, just like they do for text.

It already works (both directions), tested with mspaint and multiview.

Perhaps some Windows programs don't use CF_BITMAP clipboard format but sends file name or similar. (there are too many different clipboard formats..)

Which OS (Amiga and Windows) ?

I tried to cut an image in Multiview on OS 3.9 and 3.1 and it did not even touch the Windows clipboard. The previously clipped text was still in there. The other direction seems to work, indeed.

OS3.9, Windows7 (but Windows basic clipboard has been the same since Windows 3.0 or earlier..)

My test is as simple as open Multiview, open some image, select "Copy" from menu. ALT-TAB and paste in mspaint

Check also logs, image conversion info is logged.

Here is the log from XP. I don't see anything in it about writing to the clipboard.

In MSPaint the Paste menu remains ghosted.

Problem is not windows if you don't get "W=<width> H=<height>..." log line immediately after selecting "Copy" in multiview.

Run with -clipboarddebug, copy from multiview again, clipboard_a2p.000.dat should be written in same dir as winuae. Check that it contains valid IFF image (paletted or 24-bit).

The file is there, the clipboard not. Both Multiview and IrfanView display it correctly.

Fortunately I used my last brown paper bag week or two ago..

Chunk size was stored in byte sized variable, I guess I never tested 128 or 256 color images (CMAP >= 256 bytes). BODY worked because it was last chunk needed.

http://www.winuae.net/files/b/winuae.zip should fix it.
