Mods from popular games

i've been searching for mods (or any other format that hippo player can play) of popular games.

Like Hybris, Xenon 2, Turrican etc.

i checked modland and the EAB ftp server, but all i can find are some fan estimations of the original music.

Does anyone have these music files in their collection? or was nobody able to extract the music from the games? (other than mp3's, which my a500 can't play)

modland should have the files in question, they arent always in protracker format, many are custom or rare mods that hippo cant always play.

which games specifically have you tried but not found on modland?

In your example of games, say Turrican2, this isnt just a bunch of Protracker files, what you are looking for are TFMX files created by huelsbeck, and the music comes in 2 parts, an mdat file which is the music stuff and a smpl file that matches the mdat file, once both exist in the same place you can play the mdat file with deliplayer or eagleplayer and bingo, you have your turrican music.

the same applies to other games as well, many used their own format for stuff and modland and the likes host these files in their original format.

Quick vid showing some "proper/original" game music on modland.

i'll admit ive never checked much, or at all, but does the amiga have a site similar to sid lovers everywhere like http://deepsid.chordian.net/ for playing amiga tunes straight out of a hosted site via browser? and if not, im frankly amazed we dont usually this sort of thing has been done/redone/styled up a notch and redone again many times over.

Stone Oakvalley's Amiga Music Collection: https://www.paula8364.com/
All modules recorded from an actual Amiga, a huge undertaking.
