DEFJAM-Cruncher
Hi,
does anyone of you have the DEFJAM-Cruncher? I'd like to peer into this game file but my virus killer (VT-Schutz 3.17 [GERMAN[) says it was crunched with DEFJAM-C. Hell knows what that should mean... All you (ex-)sceners out there, speak up! |

You can find it here : http://exotica.fix.no/utils/crunchers.html
or You can probably go to Aminet, and get XFDDecrunch and use that to unpack the file http://wuarchive.wustl.edu/pub/amine.../xfdmaster.lha |

Defjam Cruncher
Not sure if I'm remembering correctly but the cruncher itself will *NOT* decrunch files, it only crunches them!
Get XFDDecrunch on Aminet under util/pack which decrunches almost all known formats... |

But be aware that address crunched files, when decrunched, are no longer executable, as they are saved as relocatable files. But it's still useful to hunt for music or text strings in the binaries.
