Question ESCOM influence on the AmigaOS

Can someone tell me more about these differences?, thanks.

Since I used to have both manual sets it seems to be NO more than putting their Black square logo on both the machine and the manuals .
And changing the floppy drive to a cheaper different type , postively I believe they distrbuted the last board revision too [ but that is a RUMOUR ]

The Workbench 3.1 disk set I ordered online arrived a few days ago and the stickers have "Commodore" written on them. As I expected, my experience has been flawless ever since and I highly doubt I'll ever need whatever was added by Escom which *prolly* reduces to the famous workbench.library, already part of my Kickstart 40.68 rom....but heh, I'm still curious about this

I believe their only *addition* was that they messed up the File-Flags - all Amiga Specific Flags werent set on Escoms WB3.1. (there are scripts on Aminet to remedy this)

The Escom`s A1200 were also infamous for their incompatible diskdrive
