Goldrunner (1987) SCP or IPF image?
Hi,
I can't find the Goldrunner (1987) image in the EAB TOSEC repository of games. There is an image Golderunner II, but not Goldrunner. I would like to restore my original Goldrunner disk so would like a good dump in IPF or SCP format to write back to the disk or to a donor disk for media replacement. Thank you. |

Yes, I'm looking for the IPF image.
I've looked in both: ftp://ftp:amiga@grandis.nu/TOSEC/Games/SPS/ ftp://ftp:amiga@grandis.nu/TOSEC/Gam...20&%20Patches/ But I don't see it in there. I've now found: ftp://ftp:amiga@grandis.nu/Non%20TOS...0-%20Official/ ftp://ftp:amiga@grandis.nu/Non%20TOS...%20Unofficial/ and have found "Goldrunner (Europe).zip" ftp://ftp:amiga@grandis.nu/Non%20TOS...20(Europe).zip Thanks, I will have a look at this and see if it is suitable. |

I thought my Goldrunner floppy disk was really bad - see top dump image. But comparing with the IPF image I just found (see bottom image), it is not that bad but, although still still not bootable/working.
Maybe a bit more cleaning will help. Otherwise I will magnet wipe it and over write it with the IPF image. |

No, that is just how it is mastered. It loads in emulation fine.
My SCP dump doesn't load. So I need to try to clean the disk a bit more, or write back the IPF image. |

Seems like a mechanical disk problem. The unofficial IPF works fine in WinUAE, and it's the version which allows Joystick control.
edit: Ah, solarmon was faster. |
