Second Samurai, why has my sound gone?
Well I remember having sound and cheesy sound effects on the original hardware, then again I have no idea if it was the AGA or ECS version or was it something to do with having extra free memory? Anything to jog my memory would be appreciated.

The game indeed has sound, no matter the version. Probably this is an emulation problem?
There are a bunch of keys in the game that will raise/lower the sound level. I think the ywere C and V, and what else? forgot. try with those. |

No silly, I mean the sound is incomplete, I have music but no SFX. I have the plinky plonky music, but no "Oh no! My Sword!" or the halleluja chorus when I use the bomb.

There's an option to switch between Mono/Stereo/Mixed mode in Sound settings. Could be that.

Tried that. No effect, does anyone know if it's something to do with memory?

Just to help anyone experiencing no SFX issues for Second Samurai in the future.
24-bit addressing should be enabled in Winuae for sfx to work. |
